About the Concert
This winter, the popular Korean band Winterplay brings fresh pop-jazz to Macau, offering a sweet, delicate, and stylish sound. Since their debut, Winterplay has pioneered a Pop-Jazz style, known for their avant-garde versatility and love for reinterpreting nostalgic classics, quickly becoming a favorite among the younger generation.
Formed in the winter of 2007, the band is centered around leader, trumpeter, and composer Juhan (Lee Joo-han) and the captivating vocalist Haewon. Their musical style blends Cha Cha, Latin, Bossa Nova, pop, and lounge music, creating melodies as fresh and pure as air. Their first album, Choco Snowball, shot to the top of the Korean jazz charts upon release, with popularity spreading to Japan, the UK, and the US. Their subsequent albums, Sunshine and Two Fabulous Fools, also topped the HMV jazz sales charts in Hong Kong. The band is also famous for their creative reinterpretation of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean, injecting personality and new life into the classic.
Gather your friends this December to enjoy the warm and stylish melodies of Winterplay, adding a unique flavor to your winter.
