Competition Overview

A creative microfilm competition aimed at raising public awareness about emotional health and encouraging positive thinking among youth. The theme is "Pay Attention to Hidden Emotions, Move Forward with Positive Thinking."

• Co-organizer: Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations - Mong Ha Community Centre

Eligibility

• Open to all Macau residents aged 13 and above.

Competition Rules

• Theme: "Pay Attention to Hidden Emotions, Move Forward with Positive Thinking."
• Categories:
  • Youth Group: Macau residents aged 13–18.
  • Open Group: Macau residents aged 18 and above.
• Duration: Minimum 1 minute, maximum 5 minutes.
• Genres: Fiction, documentary, experimental, and animation films are all accepted.
• Submission Limit: One entry per participant.
• Documentary Requirement: If submitting a documentary, a signed consent form from the interviewee must be included.

Submission Details

• Deadline: From now until April 6, 2021.
• Format: Final video must be in MPEG-4 format.
• Submission Methods:
  1. Burn the video to a disc and submit in person at the Mong Ha Community Centre (Address: C3, 3rd Floor, Mong Sin Building, Mong Ha Social Housing, 178-182 Avenida de Venceslau de Morais, Macau).
  2. Upload the video to Google Drive and send the file link via email to: [email protected].
• Note: Submissions must include the film title, participant's name, and contact number.

Judging & Awards

• Judging Panel: Composed of representatives from the organizing bodies and professionals.
• Awards:
  • Youth & Open Group:
    • First Prize (2 winners): MOP 5,000 cash and souvenir.
    • Second Prize (3 winners): MOP 3,000 cash and souvenir.
    • Third Prize (3 winners): MOP 1,500 cash and souvenir.
  • Special Merit Awards (3 winners each category): MOP 500 cash.
    • Theme Creativity Award
    • Production Technique Award
    • Script Award

Important Dates

• Results Announcement: Participants will be notified by phone and email before April 30, 2021. Results will also be published on the UGAMM website and the Mong Ha Community Centre Facebook page.
• Awards Ceremony & Winners' Sharing Session: Early June 2021.
