Whimsical Music Rhapsody is a unique concert designed for all Macau residents and music lovers, presented in a "relaxed" and "humorous" format.
Following its successful and warmly received debut in 2013, the Macau Piano Association proudly presents Whimsical Music Rhapsody III, organized by the Macau Foundation. The concert will be grandly staged on December 18 at the Macao Cultural Centre Small Auditorium.
This concert will use a light-hearted and comedic approach to introduce famous classical pieces and popular music. It aims to help the public appreciate the beauty within classical and popular music, encourage them to try appreciating classical music, and explore the similarities and differences between the two musical forms. The event emphasizes the importance of "balance" and "understanding" between them, ultimately promoting the goal of "inclusion," while also helping attendees relieve stress in their daily lives through the power of music.
The show is hosted and performed by two active local musicians: Mr. Chan Wai Man and Ms. Lei Lok Man. The performance will also feature several local young actors, string musicians, and a pop band. Through the infinite creativity of the two leads, the event promises endless laughter and positive musical energy.
