About the Project
"We are Artists Made in Macau" is a community arts initiative that aims to foster collaboration and inclusion. The project seeks to bring together artists and interested individuals of any age and background to partner with people with intellectual disabilities. Together, they will form teams to develop diverse art forms.
Project Goals
- Create a collaborative environment for artists and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Develop a wide range of artistic outputs, including handcrafted items, calligraphy, paintings, decorations, and clothing.
- Organize a small-scale charity market and showcase at the project's conclusion to display the finished works.
- Potentially host various performance programs to allow participants to engage with the public like other artists.
- Promote community integration and allow participants to showcase their talents.
- Encourage the creation of more original local artworks through collaboration with artists from different fields in Macau.
