Quality music brings auditory enjoyment, while a beautiful environment soothes the mind and body. The combination of both creates a unique audiovisual feast. The "Evening Concert" series, beloved by tourists and residents alike, pairs quality music with beautiful scenery.
This event runs from May to October. In August, the fourth installment, "Warm Southern Europe, Youth Serenade - Evening Concert," will be presented. It features the renowned Portuguese group Tuna de Medicina do Porto (Porto Medical School Tuna). They will perform original music and adaptations of popular music from the 1920s to 1940s. An all-male ensemble, their style blends pop and tradition, delivering fresh and lively music to the audience.
Officially founded on April 24, 1996, when a group of college friends realized their dream of welcoming female singers to college evenings, the group now performs at festivals, Tuna meetings, weddings, conferences, and charity auctions. They have grown musically, creating their own original sound, adapting more songs, introducing new instruments, and improving their singing voices. Their repertoire currently extends to more than 35 songs.
