About the Performance

International harp superstar Xavier de Maistre makes his Macao debut, presenting a rare concert of Baroque masterpieces with the prestigious German ensemble l'arte del mondo. The program is centered on the works of Vivaldi, including the famous "Winter" concerto from The Four Seasons.

Praised for his "amazing virtuosity" by France's Diapason magazine, de Maistre is an exclusive Sony artist renowned for redefining the image of the harp. He was the first French harpist to join the Vienna Philharmonic and a first-prize winner at a prestigious International Harp Competition in the USA. He has performed with major orchestras under conductors like Riccardo Muti, André Previn, and Simon Rattle, and is a frequent guest at renowned European music festivals.

Accompanied by l'arte del mondo, known for its soulful interpretations of both modern and early music, de Maistre will perform beautiful, newly arranged Baroque concertos for harp and ensemble.
