Victory Garden holds historical significance. It was originally known as "Campo dos Arrependidos" (Garden of the Repentant), and later renamed "Campo da Vitória" and "Praça da Vitória". According to historical records, on June 24, 1622, Macau citizens, along with a few stationed soldiers, defeated invading Dutch troops here. The garden is named to commemorate this victory.
The garden was built after the renovation of "Praça da Vitória". The square is circular with a diameter of 58 meters, located north of the former Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida, with its middle section bypassing the square.
