Every page of life experience creates who we are today. How much of the past is contained within the 'self'? Memories are stored every minute and every second. The exits of the memory boxes in our minds are sealed shut one by one. What if all memories disappeared? How much effort would it take to find them again?
Based on the text 'Before I Go to Sleep', this production delicately uses dance and theatrical elements to depict the psychological states of the book's male and female protagonists. 'She' is a person who cannot retain memories. 'She' is a person controlled by others. 'She' is a person hollowed out completely. 'He' lies thoroughly. 'He' controls completely. 'He' occupies without regard. The storyteller will lead the audience through scene after scene of 'Unlocked Memories'.
Theatre Farmers presents Unlocked Memories 2.0, inviting you into the theatre to collectively search for lost memories.
