Cross-company Production: Trash in Heaven
Brothers Art Association X Gedo Art Association
Trash in Heaven, trash on earth? Is this a long-awaited reunion or a chance encounter on a narrow path?
A gathering of four primary school classmates triggers an absurd reunion!
Zhu Biao, a harried and ordinary office worker, is about to accomplish two major life goals at thirty: buying an apartment and getting married. Stressed and troubled, he invites three long-lost primary school classmates to his new home for a catch-up. Years apart have brought earth-shattering changes to everyone's lives. The reunion is far from smooth; the more he learns about his old friends, the more bizarre the situation becomes. In a single night, the emotional rollercoaster leaves everyone in a dilemma, caught between laughter and tears...
A play by Cheung Fei Fan, winner of the 17th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards – Artist of the Year (Drama).
Trash in Heaven was nominated for Best Script at the 2011 Hong Kong Drama Awards.
