Overview
Macau is a city of diverse cultural fusion, preserving numerous traditional Chinese festivals alongside Western celebrations. The 8th day of the 4th lunar month (May 25, 2015) is a special day for Macau residents, as it marks the simultaneous celebration of the Feast of the Drunken Dragon, the Feast of the God Tam Kong, and Buddha's Birthday.

Feast of the Drunken Dragon (May 25)
- Status: Recognized as National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
- Highlight: The spectacular Drunken Dragon and Lion Dance Parade is a must-see.
- Main Event – Drunken Dragon & Lion Dance Grand Parade:

- Time: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Location: Senado Square (Starting Point)
- Route: Passes by Hong Kung Temple, Floating Market, and returns to Senado Square.

- Dragon Bowl Longevity Rice Distribution (May 25):
- Red Market: Around 11:30 am

Feast of the God Tam Kong (May 25)
- "Glorious Coloane April 8th" Parade (May 25):
- Time: 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm
- Location: Rua da Cordoaria (Coloane Village Bus Terminal)
- Feature: A traditional costume parade starting from Rua da Cordoaria, circling behind Tam Kong Temple (approx. 1 hour).
- Admission: Free
- Chinese Opera Performances for Tam Kong's Birthday (May 24-28):
- Venue: Tam Kong Temple Square, Coloane
- Day Show: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (May 25 open to all; May 27 for elderly only)
- Evening Show: 7:30 pm – 11:35 pm (May 24-28)
- Admission: MOP 40 – 250
- Transport: Complimentary shuttle bus from Coloane Village to Sintra Hotel (Macau) & Bombeiros Square (Taipa) after each evening show.
Feast of Buddha (Buddha's Birthday)
- Buddha Bathing & Blessing Ceremony (May 10):
- Time: 10:00 am
- Location: International Buddhist Progress Society of Macau (Macau Chan Ching Centre), 2/F Bloco C, No. 31-33 Edf. Ocean View Garden, Rua de Silva Mendes.
- Activity: A Buddha Pavilion is set up for believers to participate in the bathing ritual.
- Vegetarian Carnival for Buddha's Birthday (May 17):
- Time: 2:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Location: Rotunda de Carlos da Maia (Three Lamps District)
- Features:
- Nearly 30 booths selling vegetarian food and Buddhist souvenirs.
- Cultural performances and a blessing/bathing ceremony.
