Event Overview
Organized under the "Tourism Awareness Programme," this painting competition invites Macau residents to explore and artistically depict the city's lesser-known, charming corners. The goal is to showcase that beyond the famous landmarks, Macau is filled with warm, human-scale streets and scenes worth discovering.
Competition Details
- Theme: "Macau's Small Corners" – Participants should paint a special, lesser-known corner of Macau.
- Objective: To present the city's hidden gems and warm street scenes to visitors.
Participant Categories
- Primary School Group: Students from Primary 3 to Primary 6.
- Secondary School Group: Students from Form 1 to Form 6.
- Adult Group: Individuals aged 18 and above.
Prizes
Primary School Group:
- Champion: MOP 500 + Trophy
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 300 + Trophy
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 150 + Trophy
- Merit Awards (100 winners): Certificate + Souvenir
Secondary School Group:
- Champion: MOP 800 + Trophy
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 500 + Trophy
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 200 + Trophy
- Merit Awards (100 winners): Certificate + Souvenir
Adult Group:
- Champion: MOP 1,000 + Trophy
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 800 + Trophy
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 500 + Trophy
- Merit Awards (50 winners): Certificate + Souvenir
How to Enter

Individual Entry:
- Place your artwork and the completed personal entry form in an envelope.
- Mail or deliver in person to: "Stage" – Kin Fai Building, No. 124 Rua do Campo, Macau.
- Mark the envelope with: "Tourism Awareness Programme – Painting Competition 'Macau's Small Corners'."

School/Group Entry:
- Complete the school/group entry form.
- Place it, along with the artworks and individual entry forms, in an envelope.
- Mail or deliver to the same address above with the same marking.
Competition Rules
- Create one A3-sized (white paper) painting according to the theme and your registered category.
- Art must be in a flat, hand-painted format (no digital art). Acceptable media includes poster color, watercolor, crayon, pastel, colored pencil, etc.
- All entries must be original and must not infringe on any copyrights.
- Judging criteria: Relevance to theme, creativity, use of color, and overall composition. The judges' decision is final.
- Submitted artworks will not be returned. The copyright of all entries belongs to the organizers, who may use them for educational, promotional, printing, publishing, or exhibition purposes without further consent or compensation.
- The organizers reserve the right to the final interpretation and decision on all competition matters.
