Choreographed by Asia's hottest young choreographer Wang Yabin, The World presents the dazzling yet cruel world of dancers. Rich emotions and the rhythm of life support the dancers as they measure this world with their bodies: pain, joy, and profound intensity. The dancer's "world" contains everything; within this "world," dancers possess a complete language system, flowing time, and changing space. Dancers, burning with artistic life, bestow eternal existence upon this "world."
Wang Yabin has won gold awards in major national-level dance competitions in China. In 2009, she founded the brand series "Yabin & Her Friends," with her works having toured over a dozen countries. Her dance performances and creations are highly acclaimed in the international dance scene, hailed as "one of the most important dancers in Asia." She has become a prominent young choreographer of China's new generation and has been invited multiple times to perform at the prestigious Sadler's Wells Theatre. She was also commissioned by the English National Ballet to choreograph for the company. Following the critically acclaimed Qing Yi in 2016, Wang Yabin returns to Macau with her new work.
