About the Performance
In this era driven by speed and desire, people are trapped in anxiety and restlessness, chasing after an insatiable material world while growing increasingly distant from inner peace.
Inspired by the Kun Iam Ecumenical Center, the artist embarks on an inward journey of self-discovery—using sound as a path to illuminate the waves of desire; through contemplation, realizing the forward direction of life. The dancers' bodies become vessels of spiritual light, pulsating to electronic music, guiding us through layers of fluctuation.
Rooted in Eastern aesthetics, the work combines contemporary dance with minimalist stage design to create a spiritual space of 'leaving blank'. Using the dancers' bodies as a ferry, amidst the interweaving of sound, light, and dance, we glimpse the self and cross towards moments of clarity.
