About the Competition

The "THE MIND GEM Youth Short Film Competition," organized by the Macau Young Entrepreneurs Association, aims to promote emotional management skills among youth, educate primary and secondary school students about mental health, and convey mental health messages to the public. Through this creative activity, the competition encourages students to unleash their creativity. Winning entries will be used to promote youth mental health awareness.

Competition Theme & Details

• Theme: Emotional Health. The content should focus on encouraging young people to care for their own emotional well-being and that of those around them.
• Categories:
  • Open Category (for individuals aged 18-35)
  • Student Category (for students from Primary 1 to Secondary 6, aged 7+)
• Participation: Individuals or groups (maximum of 8 people) may enter.
• Submission Requirements:
  • Short film duration: 1 to 5 minutes.
  • Language: Chinese or English is acceptable.

Awards

Each category (Open and Student) will award the following prizes:

• Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up
• Best Director
• Best Actor
• Best Actress
• Best Creative Concept

Winners will receive trophies for their respective awards.
