This summer, Stellan Artists invites renowned Berlin-based choreographer Nir de Volff to collaborate with dancers from Berlin and three outstanding local Macau dancers, presenting the distinctive dance theatre piece "The Epilogue."
"The Epilogue: Fake Smile Symphony" is a dance performance created in 2019, imagining how life in the past will be remembered in the year 2119.
It is a dance piece about 21st-century humans, depicting how people moved, spoke, and communicated with each other. Just before humans transformed into "living applications," they had freedom of action and speech, independent thoughts, and feelings.
This epilogue is a memory of Generation Z. After Generation Z (commonly known as the old humans), humans evolved with built-in nanochips, driven by applications. Entering the identity-blurring era of "transhumanism"—could it be chaotic, complex, and frightening?
