Event Overview

As part of the "Art Macao: Japanese Culture and Art Gallery," the event "The Charm and Tasting of Uji Tea" will be held at the Macao Tap Seac Gallery on August 17.

We are honored to invite Mr. Kentaro Hashimoto, the fifth-generation successor of the nearly 150-year-old tea shop "Kouhouen," and his wife Angela to Macao. They will introduce and demonstrate how to brew a pot of traditional and delicious Japanese tea. The event will also include a tasting session and personal experience.

• Time: (Session 1) 14:00–15:30; (Session 2) 16:00–17:30 ※ Both sessions are identical.
• Location: Macao Tap Seac Gallery (No. 95 Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida)
• Language: Japanese, with Cantonese interpretation provided.
• Admission: Free
