About the Event

Macau has a long and rich history of tea trade, with the spread and fusion of popular food cultures such as Cantonese teahouses and Western-style cha chaan tengs. Lin Zhihong (1921-2003), a contemporary tea master who was among the earliest to promote tea culture in Macau, holds a significant position in the local tea community.

To commemorate this pioneering figure, the Macau Tea Culture Museum is specially hosting the exhibition 'Tea Artist, Tea Charm – Juzixuan Collection Exhibition'. This exhibition allows Macau citizens to understand how this esteemed elder personally dedicated himself to advancing the development of Macau's tea culture.

Exhibition Highlights

• Displays over 60 pieces of tea ware donated by Lin Zhihong.
• Features other treasured items related to tea culture.
• The Macau Tea Culture Museum offers free tea tasting service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
