Migrant workers are one of the main sources of Macau's labor force. Statistics show there are approximately 180,000 migrant workers in Macau, mainly from Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. They have made significant contributions to Macau's prosperity, yet face social discrimination due to language barriers, cultural customs, and lifestyle differences.
This event is themed around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of "Reduced Inequalities." Through sharing sessions and on-site community exploration, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the living conditions and realities of migrant workers. The aim is to eliminate discrimination through awareness and foster a more friendly and inclusive society.
