Studio City and Rolemodel Entertainment Group (REG) are proud to announce that the legendary K-pop group Super Junior, with over a decade in the industry, will arrive at the Asian entertainment hub Studio City on Saturday, May 28, 2016. They will meet their fans at a special event held on the world-class stage of the Studio City Event Center.
This event, which premiered in Seoul in September last year, is Super Junior's first large-scale fan meeting tour since their debut. It has already traveled to major Asian cities including Tokyo, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok. The Macau stop will be held in the format of a mini-concert. Super Junior will not only deliver spectacular performances and beloved classic hits but will also engage in sincere conversations with fans, reminiscing about their glorious decade together. The event will feature close-up interactions and fun games with the audience, showcasing the unique energy and charm of Super Junior.
This event is Super Junior's way of thanking fans for their years of support. Although it is currently difficult for all members to meet fans together due to military service commitments, this fan meeting will feature members Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. The members have specially made time in their busy individual schedules to create a unique and unforgettable experience for their fans.
The event will be held at the Studio City Event Center, Macau's newest landmark that opened in October last year. The venue has already hosted numerous international superstars, including pop icon Madonna, Asian stage king Aaron Kwok, and top comedian Russell Peters. For this event, a dedicated extended rotating stage has been specially set up to allow for closer interaction between fans and Super Junior, offering a visual experience different from previous concerts.
REG, under the large Korean entertainment conglomerate CJ E&M, is launching the KLIVE series of popular Korean performances for K-culture supporters. The inaugural performance is this "SUPER CAMP" event, allowing K-POP fans to participate in a full entertainment experience and get close to their idols. The KLIVE series begins in Macau in 2016 and will expand to various cities across Asia.
