Purpose
This initiative aims to collect literary works from non-local students studying in Macao, regardless of theme or content. The project seeks to establish a research foundation to demonstrate viable creative pathways for external students, foster discussions on the future development of campus literature in Macao, preserve the creative writing state of non-local students through text, and document the trajectory of Macao's literary development.
Submission Guidelines & Requirements
- Fiction: Themes should revolve around campus life, youth, growth, or the harmony and affection between humans and animals, and humans and nature. The narrative should be clean and crisp, emphasizing readability. The writing should be natural, smooth, and free-spirited. The recommended length is between 2,000 and 8,000 characters.
- Prose: Themes should focus on family, friendship, and love. The writing should be sincere and warm. All expression should be woven into the narrative, emphasizing readability. The recommended length is between 1,500 and 3,500 characters.
- Reading & World (Reviews): Book reviews, music reviews, and film reviews are all welcome. The writing should be sharp and impactful. Articles should be concise and refined, with a recommended length between 1,000 and 3,000 characters.
- Poetry: Primarily modern poetry, but classical poetry and fu are also acceptable. The number of lines should preferably not exceed 50.
- Literary Criticism: The recommended length is no more than 15,000 characters.
