Project D is an experimental exploration of street dance, re-examining the art form through the deconstruction and reorganization of cultural labels. This year's edition features Scottish choreographer Tony Mills collaborating with local dancers to present two experimental works: Roadkill and Worst Enemy.
A fusion of urban dance, physical theatre, and contemporary dance. The piece follows three characters journeying through an anonymous land as they avoid trouble, take chances, and strive for victory. In this adventure, you might get a reward... or you might become roadkill.
A combination of Hip Hop and physical theatre that explores how we create our own reality. When we find ourselves walking the same path in life, repeating the same mistakes and ending up in a place we don't like, who is responsible? Who exactly is our worst enemy?
