Program Objectives
- Help children find joy in learning English.
- Enhance children's concentration and memory.
- Promote artistic and literary appreciation through stories.
- Train teamwork skills.
- Strengthen listening and interaction abilities.
- Develop intelligence and logical thinking.
Registration & Notes
- Registration Period: From now until April 19, 2014.
- Registration Method: Register in person at any library under the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM).
- Lottery Draw: If applications exceed the quota, a computerised lottery will be held. Results will be announced on the IACM Library website on April 20, and successful applicants will be notified by phone.
- Member Priority: Reading Club members get priority registration and can earn 2 reading credits.
- Attendance Policy: Please arrive on time. Latecomers (15 minutes or more) will forfeit their spot and may join the waiting list on-site.
- Absence Policy: Please notify library staff at least 3 days in advance if unable to attend. Two unexcused absences will result in a 3-month suspension from activities.
- Bad Weather Arrangements:
- Outdoor activities are cancelled or suspended during heavy rain, thunderstorms, or Typhoon Signal No. 3.
- Indoor activities proceed as usual under the above conditions.
- All activities are cancelled when Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted.
- Keep your receipt (if any) for rescheduling arrangements if an event is cancelled.
