Introduction

Born in Bologna, Italy, Stefano Rover began studying the piano at the age of four and made his public début with a short solo recital only a year later. During his studies at the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory of Music in Florence, he was selected by Maurizio Pollini and Joaquin Achucarro from hundreds of piano students as a participant with scholarship at their masterclasses at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. He has also studied with great maestri such as Lazar Berman, Homero Franscesh and Rudolf Buchbinder.
