To commemorate the miracles of St. Anthony of Lisbon, Portugal, the Catholic Diocese of Macau holds the "St. Anthony's Feast and Statue Procession" annually on the Saturday or Sunday around June 13th. This tradition has a history of over a century. The procession carries a statue of St. Anthony holding the Infant Jesus, starting from St. Anthony's Church Square, walking to the vicinity of the Ruins of St. Paul's, and then returning to the church. It attracts many parishioners, local residents, and tourists along the route, making it one of Macau's distinctive religious ceremonies.
