"Sprout" is the theme of this exhibition, symbolizing the tender shoots growing from the "little seeds of art" carefully planted by the teachers at the Macao Education Centre for Culture and Arts (MECCA). The exhibition showcases outstanding student works from the 2021/2022 academic year, featuring participants from various visual arts courses such as the Children's Acrylic Creative Workshop, Children's Creative Painting Class, Mixed Media Art Creation Class, and Basic Painting Class.
The youngest participating student is only 3 years old. Many of these young artists have already won awards in numerous prestigious painting competitions, including:
Through each innocent and creative piece, visitors can sense the dedication, multidimensional thinking, and innovative spirit of the art teachers. The teaching focuses on training goals such as media, techniques, creative thinking, and hands-on skills, branching out from the inheritance of traditional culture, observing and imitating changes in nature, and expressing the joys of life experiences.
