The Sound and Image Challenge International Short Film Festival 2016 showcases outstanding works from the short film competition "SHORTS" and the music video competition "VOLUME". The festival features a diverse program of screenings, seminars, and masterclasses, offering a platform for filmmakers and audiences to connect.
The festival will host seminars covering various aspects of filmmaking, including production, development history, and the curation and management of independent international film festivals. A special highlight is the masterclass led by renowned Chinese director Cheng Liang, who will share his black-and-white work "Three Short Films About Shanghai" and discuss his creative inspiration.
Curators, producers, and directors of the participating works will attend post-screening talks to interact and exchange ideas with the public.
