Overview

The Social Security Fund will host two sessions of the "Smart Family" Parent-Child Finance Workshop, inviting experts to guide Macau parents in teaching their children basic financial concepts through fun and interactive games. The first workshop will be held this Sunday.

Workshop Details

• Content: Case analysis, group discussions, lectures, simulated scenario games, and story sharing.
• Speakers:
  • Mr. Raymond Shiu Fung Leung, Deputy Director of a Hong Kong asset management company.
  • Ms. Li Duanqi, President of the Macau Youth Physical and Mental Development Association (Children's Finance Game Instructor).
• Date: Sunday, March 23, 2014
• Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Toi San Activity Centre Auditorium (1st Floor, Toi San Municipal Complex, Rua do Dr. Sousa, Macau)
• Target Audience: Macau parents and their children aged 4–8 (each parent can bring up to two children).

Purpose & Registration

Organized by the Social Security Fund and the Macau Youth Physical and Mental Development Association, this workshop aims to provide parents with correct knowledge of family finance and skills to cultivate a proper financial attitude in their children. Through games, children will gain a preliminary understanding of basic financial concepts and the importance of saving.
