The historic Sistine Chapel Choir from the Vatican, making its first-ever visit to Asia and Greater China, presents a special concert in Macau. This delegation of 70 members, one of the oldest sacred music choirs in existence with a history spanning over 1,400 years, serves as the guardian of the Roman Catholic Church's sacred music tradition and performs at all liturgical celebrations presided over by the Pope.
The concert takes place at the Cathedral of Macau, also known as the Cathedral, built around 1622. The church features valuable historical artifacts, including the wooden Portuguese screen at the entrance, interior statues, and stained glass windows.
