Event Overview

The 9th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Asia will be held at The Venetian Macao from December 5 to 8, 2016. This annual event, which rotates around the Asian region, is a major gathering that brings together the world's top computer animation experts, developers, researchers, technicians, and graphics specialists.

About SIGGRAPH Asia

SIGGRAPH is the most prestigious platform in the field of computer graphics technology. Following its great success in North America, SIGGRAPH first entered Asia in 2008 and quickly became another platform for publishing top computer graphics technology research results. It not only showcases numerous cutting-edge technologies to local Asian professionals and industries but also provides a more direct platform for Asian and international computer graphics researchers to exchange new ideas.

Building on the success factors of SIGGRAPH in North America, SIGGRAPH Asia 2016 will feature a Computer Animation Festival, various courses introducing emerging technologies, and new technology presentations through posters and papers. After several years of development, SIGGRAPH Asia also has its own unique programs. At SIGGRAPH Asia 2016, we will continue to hold technical briefings, educational seminars, mobile graphics and interactive technology application seminars, visualization seminars, and various workshops.

Background

SIGGRAPH Asia originates from its parent event in the USA: SIGGRAPH.
