To encourage the public to pay attention to science in daily life and apply creativity and technology to promote science education, the Macau Science Center is hosting the "Shooting Science – 2015 Macau Science Center Multimedia Creation Competition." Participants not only have the chance to win prizes but their works may also be selected for public display at the Science Center's future educational events.
Competition Categories
- Science Education Short Film & Model Making: Open to secondary school students currently studying in Macau. Participants can enter individually or as a team.
- Micro-film Making: Open to individuals currently studying at a Macau higher education institution or any Macau resident interested in micro-film production.
Prizes & Incentives
- All participants receive two complimentary tickets each to the Macau Science Center Exhibition Centre and Planetarium upon registration.
- Winners of the "Science Education Short Film & Model Making" category may be invited to showcase their work at the Macau Science Center booth during the International Museum Day event in May.
- Champions, runners-up, finalists, and shortlisted participants will win various prizes.
