The 'Passing on the Traditional Chinese Culture through Seeking Roots: Knowing about the Exquisite Art of Embroidery' exhibition features 10 exquisite Suzhou-style embroidery works by the renowned master Zhou Xueqing. Her works are celebrated for their fine craftsmanship, varied stitching techniques, and vibrant colors. The embroidered figures, flora, and fauna are vividly lifelike, expressing boundless vitality. Her award-winning pieces have been exhibited internationally, including in Canada, helping to promote embroidery culture overseas.
This exhibition focuses on themes such as people, flowers, animals, and landscapes, showcasing the intricate needlework and elegant patterns of Suzhou embroidery. It aims to introduce Macao's youth to the excellence of traditional Chinese culture and allow them to experience its long-standing heritage.
