Speaker Profile

Professor Huang Guosong, born in 1944 in Taichung, Taiwan, holds doctorates in Acupuncture Medicine, Traditional Medicine, and Alternative Medicine, and is a Knight of the Maltese Royal Family. He began his research by studying spinal nerve pathology under Professor Gou Yabo. Recognizing a lack of understanding of disease etiology, he embarked on a research journey:

• 1994: Initiated integrated research on meridian channels (Jingjin) and spinal nerves.
• 1995: Expanded research to include the structure of the limbs.
• 1996: Re-evaluated the impact of human structural engineering and biomechanics on spinal nerves.
• 1997: Conducted composite research on the influence of hemorheology on nerve function.
• 1998: Deduced the complementary relationship between internal organs and meridian channels from extensive clinical practice, beginning the systematization of meridian theory.

Professor Huang posits that pain and organ aging are phenomena and results, not causes. To find the root cause, one must start with the meridians (Jingjin). He is skilled in manual therapy for systemic diseases, including pain relief and delaying the aging of internal organs.

He is the author of several books, including "Spinal Manual Therapy" (1995, published in mainland China in 1997), "Limb Manual Therapy" (1996), and "Meridian Manual Therapy" (1998, published in mainland China in March 2007). He is currently preparing manuscripts on manual treatments for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and gynecological disorders.
