In 2019, the Rui Cunha Foundation celebrated its 7th anniversary by organizing a special event titled 'Painting the Garden'. This celebration aimed to foster artistic exchange and provide a creative platform for Macau's youth.

Program Structure
The event was divided into two main parts:
- 'Painting with Masters' (April 22, 2019): Students from various schools in Macau were invited to sketch and paint alongside renowned local artists in the scenic Lou Lim Ieoc Garden. Each student-artist group worked on a unique theme, using their imagination to capture the park's natural spring beauty.
- 'Art Gathering at Lou Garden' Group Exhibition (April 23–28, 2019): The artworks created by the students during the workshop, combined with pieces from the participating artists, were exhibited at the Chun Cao Tang (Spring Grass Hall) within Lou Lim Ieoc Garden.
Event Purpose
The exhibition served a dual purpose: facilitating artistic dialogue among established artists and providing a valuable opportunity for Macau's youth to collaborate with and learn from local masters, witnessing their artistic brilliance firsthand.
