This online quiz game, 'How to Help?', is a sub-project of the 'Responsible Gambling Deep Learning Program 2025 - Helping Others Chapter'. It aims to promote awareness and skills for supporting individuals affected by gambling disorders.

How to Play

1. The game consists of a quiz and a 'Support Opportunity' segment.
2. Participants will randomly encounter 6 scenarios: 2 'Knowledge Questions' and 4 'Dialogue Questions'.
3. Knowledge Questions: Choose one correct answer from four options. Correct answer: +10 points. Incorrect: 0 points.
4. Dialogue Questions: Choose the most appropriate reply to support a person affected by gambling from four options.
   • Ideal reply: +10 points
   • General reply: 0 points
   • Undesirable reply: -10 points
5. Selecting an ideal or general reply in a Dialogue Question grants a 'Support Opportunity' via a 10-slot wheel.
   • 'Successful Support': +10 bonus points
   • 'Support Not as Expected': 0 points
   • The probability of 'Successful Support' starts at 20% and changes based on your cumulative quiz score.
6. The final score is the sum of quiz points and bonus points.

Scoring & Entry Chances

Your final score determines your number of entries into the prize draw:

• 0 points or below: 1 entry

• 1 to 40 points: 2 entries

• 41 to 70 points: 4 entries

• 71 points or above: 6 entries

• You can play multiple times to accumulate entries, with a maximum cap of 400 entries per participant.

• Each participant can only win one prize. Prizes are allocated in descending order (Grand Prize first).

Important Notes

• Winners will be selected by computer random draw.
• The winner list will be announced on the organizer's official website, WeChat public account, and Facebook page. Winners will also be notified via SMS.
• Winners must present their Macao Resident Identity Card for verification when claiming prizes.
• Invalid entries or failure to claim prizes will result in forfeiture, and replacements will be drawn from a standby list.
• Personal data collected is used solely for this game's draw, verification, and notification purposes.
• The organizer reserves the final right to interpret the game rules.
