Experience creating with resin clay in this workshop!
Featured Artist: Xie Jiancheng
Xie Jiancheng is an autistic individual diagnosed with moderate intellectual disability at the age of three. With limited verbal expression, he primarily responds with single sounds. In his world, animals symbolize family. He began learning ceramic art in 2017. His early works were often assembled from strips of clay, but he later spontaneously began shaping animal figures.
His imagination for animal forms is boundless, not strictly based on real animals but perhaps inspired by dreams or personal experiences. He loves using vibrant colors in all his works. Behind his distinctive creative style lies his unique aesthetic experience, conceptualization, and expression.
