The Refugee Welfare Association was established in 2011 as a non-profit organization dedicated to helping refugees around the world who are suffering from war, persecution, violence, and human rights violations. According to UNHCR statistics from mid-2013, approximately 38.7 million people were forcibly displaced globally.
The primary goal is to raise funds for refugees. All donations collected will be channeled through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide aid to refugees worldwide. The charity sale features donated items such as books, stationery, and souvenirs, with proceeds used for charitable services.
