Red Packet Reuse and Recycling Campaign
To consistently implement the environmental policy of resource recycling and reuse, the Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) continues to hold the 'Recycling Red Packets is so EASY' activity during the Lunar New Year period. The campaign promotes the environmental message of 'Use fewer new ones, reuse more, don't waste' to the public, encouraging the reuse or recycling of old red packets to reduce paper waste.
Past Achievements
- Over the past three years, with the enthusiastic participation of Macau citizens and strong support from all sectors of society, approximately 6.37 million red packets have been collected.
- After sorting, about 2.19 million red packets were suitable for reuse.
