Cantonese Opera is a beloved performing art in Macao and the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong Province. It was inscribed on the Macao Intangible Cultural Heritage Tentative List and the National Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2006, and on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.

"Red Boat Clear Song - The Beauty of Cantonese Opera Culture" showcases representative Cantonese Opera artifacts from the Macao Museum's collection. The exhibition guides visitors to appreciate the beauty of this traditional art through various aspects, including the history of Cantonese Opera, its development in Macao, the lives of famous performers, and performance techniques.
