About the Contest
This photography contest encourages students and youth to capture images related to plastic reduction and eco-friendly behaviors in local markets. The aim is to raise awareness about small yet significant environmental actions and enhance civic consciousness. The contest is divided into Student and Open categories, each with top awards.

Submission Details
- Submission Period: From now until November 25, 2016, 23:59.
- How to Submit: Submit your entry along with a message containing "Name + Phone Number + Category + Age/Grade + Short Description (under 50 words)" via one of the following methods (confirmed by a receipt reply):
Entry Requirements
- Theme: Entries must focus on either "Plastic Reduction" or "Eco-friendly Behaviors in the Market."
- Limit: Maximum of three independent entries per person (not a series).
- Originality: Entries must be original and owned by the contestant.
- Exclusivity: Entries must not have been submitted to other competitions.
- Rights: Upon submission, all copyrights transfer to the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to exhibit, print, and publish the works without additional compensation, though the author will be credited.
- Technical: Photos can be taken with a phone or camera. Minimum 5 megapixels and 2MB file size.
Contest Categories
- Student Category: Full-time primary and secondary school students in Macao.
- Open Category: Macao residents aged 18–45.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be posted on the organizer's Facebook page "Green Future" upon receipt. Final judging is based on:
- Online Likes (50%): Number of likes on the original post by November 27, 2016, 23:59.
- Judges' Score (50%): Evaluated by one representative each from the organizer (Green Future), supporting organization (Green Market), and a relevant professional, based on theme relevance, creativity, and composition.
Prizes
Each category awards Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, and Merit prizes (number of Merit awards limited to no more than 1/3 of entries in that category).
Open Category
- Champion: MOP 1000 cash + certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 400 cash + certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 200 cash + certificate
- Merit: Certificate
Student Category
- Champion: MOP 600 cash + certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 300 cash + certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 100 cash + certificate
- Merit: Certificate
Results Announcement
Winners will be notified by phone in early December 2016. The winner list will be posted on the "Green Future" Facebook page. Winners will be personally notified to receive awards at a ceremony in December 2016.
