Purpose
Through field trips, group activities, article sharing, and discussions, this program aims to help participants gain a deeper understanding of Macau's social development.
October Theme: Fire Services Bureau
Through on-site visits, experience sharing, and group discussions, participants will be introduced to the equipment and daily operations of the Macau Fire Services Bureau, fostering greater awareness of Macau's social development.

- Target Participants: Priority given to individuals aged 50 or above; other interested persons are also welcome.
- Quota: 20 participants
Registration
- Registration Period: From now until October 9
- Method: Register at any library under the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM).
- Lottery: If applications exceed the quota, a computer lottery will be conducted. Results will be announced on the IACM Library website on October 10, and successful applicants will be notified by phone.
Important Notes
- Members of the Reading Club receive priority registration and can earn 2 reading credits.
- If unable to attend, please notify library staff at least 3 days before the event. Unjustified absences twice will result in a 3-month suspension of activity rights.
- Participants must arrive on time. Being late by 15 minutes or more will result in forfeiture of participation rights for that session.
- Adverse Weather Arrangements:
- Outdoor activities are canceled or suspended during heavy rain, thunderstorms, or a No. 3 typhoon signal. Indoor activities proceed as usual.
- All activities are canceled during a No. 8 typhoon signal.
- If canceled, participants should keep their receipt (if any) for arrangements by the organizer.
