Small but Powerful
A miniature object and movement site-specific theatre, dedicated to creators from all areas.
The story describes the mind map of a poet when he creates his poem in the corner of his room… a great work would burst soon in this night…
About the Performance
This stunning work was created by Macao-based Taiwanese theatre director Hope Chiang in 2005 and first launched at "Pinto-livros" in Macau. It has since been performed in bookshops and alternative spaces across Macau, Hong Kong, Poland, Taipei, Chunchon, Edinburgh, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Seoul for 48 sessions. It was nominated for the 6th Annual Taishin Arts Awards of Taiwan in 2007.
The two performers, a poet and his soul, play with books, Barbie shoes, little puppets, and more, accompanied by original music composed by Spanish musician Victor Garnier and exciting multimedia elements, bringing the audience into a world of imagination.
