This concert presents a full program of English choral works, featuring pieces by John Rutter, one of Britain's most renowned contemporary choral composers. Rutter's iconic works, such as "All Things Bright and Beautiful" and "Look at the World," are beloved staples of the choral repertoire. The program culminates with Randall Thompson's representative work, "Frostiana: Seven Country Songs."
Under the baton of conductor Mr. Lo Pui Kwan, the performance will be delivered by the Macau Harmony Choir alongside four internationally acclaimed vocalists.
The choral works of these two composers shone brilliantly in the 20th century, in Britain and America respectively. Their music, accompanied by an orchestra, creates a pure and beautiful harmonic effect. Combined with poetry, it powerfully expresses a love for life.
