Overview

Positive parenting places great emphasis on the emotional connection between parent and child. On May 22, two parenting workshops will be held to share with parents how to use board games to enhance parent-child relationships, and how to understand a child's personality through the 9 Temperament Traits, thereby applying parenting methods suited to the child's characteristics to guide them into becoming capable individuals.

Workshop Details

Workshop 1: Parent-Child Board Game Fun Guide

• Time: 10:00–11:00
• Target Participants: Children aged 5 or above and their parents (12 parent-child pairs)
• Content: 5 board game techniques to promote parent-child communication and bonding.
• Instructor: Chan Ka Ming, Registered Social Worker (Board Game Counseling and Learning Instructor)
• Fee: MOP 10 per parent-child pair

Workshop 2: Children's 9 Temperament Traits and Positive Parenting

• Time: 11:30–12:30
• Target Participants: Interested parents (15 participants)
• Content: Understanding children's personality traits and behavioral patterns through the 9 Temperament Traits framework to implement suitable parenting methods.
• Instructor: Leong Chi Mei, Psychological Counselor (Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and Early Childhood Educator by the Positive Discipline Association, USA)
• Fee: MOP 20 per person
