Introduction

A group of relatively unknown young, struggling artists live at the bottom of society, relying on each other and their art to survive. Suddenly, an old friend who left them years ago and has since become a famous artist sends an email with a photo of her new swimming pool, inviting them to her luxurious home for a visit. Is this a gesture of goodwill or a display of vanity?
