T Theatre's annual production, "Play Together," brings together artists from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Macau, each with distinct choreographic practices. They pose a simple, fundamental question: Despite our differences, will we walk this journey together?
The artists will convene through a medium known as "choreographic games." These games blend Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) elements with choreographic practices to facilitate genuine interactions. LARP, a form of role-playing game, allows participants to enact various scenarios, creating dances expressed through body language to achieve predefined objectives, making it a microcosm for world-building. This project intertwines imagination and reality as an entangled state of truth.
The authenticity of the artists' meeting is reflected in their choreographies and the numerous potential and fictional narratives connecting this encounter with various choreographic imaginations.
