A saxophone ensemble concert, led once again this year by Macau's young saxophonist and Macau Wind Band Association instructor, Lui Hon Cheong. The performance will feature different ensembles interpreting musical pieces in various styles.
The concert gathers students from Keang Peng School, Pui Ching Middle School, Colégio de Santa Rosa de Lima (English Section), Colégio Diocesano de Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Choi Kou College (Macau), Choi Nong Chi Tai School, St. Paul's College, Yuet Wah College, University of Macau, and the Saxophone Training Class of the Macau Wind Band Association. Members of the saxophone section from the Salesian School Silver Band have been specially invited to participate, forming a powerful saxophone ensemble. The goal is to promote the art of saxophone and increase public interest in wind music.
