Event Overview
2020 marks the 15th anniversary of Macao's successful inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Portuguese Azulejo (Tile) Painting Craft is an intangible cultural heritage of Macao. This July, bring your children to experience this unique culture!
Design on a white ceramic tile using special tile painting pigments. Traditional Portuguese tiles primarily feature blue as the main color, complemented by various beautiful floral patterns, allowing you to paint a uniquely beautiful and exquisite tile.
Event Details
- Date: July 11, 2020 (Saturday)
- Time: 15:00–17:00
- Target Participants: Children aged 6 and above with their parents/guardians.
- Capacity: 10 parent-child pairs (1 adult + 1 child per pair).
- Location: New Youth Association Headquarters (Shop I, G/F, Yau Luen Building, No. 7 Rua de João de Almeida).
- Fee: MOP 100 per pair (if the parent is a member of the New Youth Association); MOP 300 per pair (non-members).
Registration & Important Notes
- Complete the online registration, then visit the association's office in person to pay the fee to secure your spot.
- Fees are non-refundable if you are unable to attend for personal reasons.
- If the workshop cannot be held as scheduled due to the pandemic or force majeure, alternative arrangements will be made.
- In accordance with pandemic prevention guidelines, all persons entering the venue must present a health code, have their temperature checked, and wear a mask.
- The organizer reserves the right to interpret, modify, and make final decisions regarding this event and its terms.
