Competition Overview
The Pak Wai Cup 2015 All-Macau Youth Mandarin Singing Competition aims to promote the learning of Mandarin, enhance young people's singing and performance skills, unleash their singing potential and talent, and increase their interest in performing arts careers.
Key Details
- Competition Format: Solo or group (max 3 people). The competition consists of auditions, preliminary rounds, and finals.
- Song Requirements: Mandarin pop songs (under 6 minutes). Original vocals must be removable; concert versions are not accepted.
- Eligibility: Aged 14–29, holding a Macau Resident Identity Card, and not signed with any company. Previous Pak Wai Cup champions are not eligible.

- Registration Deadline: From now until Tuesday, June 15, 2015
- Audition Date: Sunday, June 21, 2015, 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (by lottery batch)
- Preliminary Round Date: Sunday, June 28, 2015, 7:00 PM
- Final Date: Saturday, July 25, 2015, 7:00 PM
- Audition & Preliminary Venue: Pak Wai Activity Centre, G/F, Pak Wai Garden, Rua de Ferreira do Amaral, Macau
- Final Venue: 6th Floor, General Union of Neighbourhood Associations Community Service Building, No. 646 Avenida do Comandante Humberto Delgado, Toi San, Macau
Prizes
- Champion: MOP 3,600 cash + trophy
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 2,600 cash + trophy
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 1,600 cash + trophy
- Best Stage Presence Award: MOP 600 cash + trophy
- Best Costume Award: MOP 600 cash + trophy
- Most Popular Award (Live Audience): MOP 600 cash + trophy
- All 12 Finalists: MOP 150 costume allowance each
Registration & Submission
- Registration Fee: MOP 25
- Methods:
- Submit completed form, ID copy, and fee to Pak Wai Activity Centre.
- Fill out the online form at the provided link, then submit ID copy and fee to the Centre by June 18, 2015.
- Accompaniment Track Submission: Email instrumental file to [email protected] (include name and song title) or submit in person to the Centre by June 18, 2015.
- A Cappella or Self-accompaniment: Please indicate preference in the remarks section of the form.
