Event Overview
The 2015 edition of "Oxwarehouse Talk" continues the theme of imagery from the exhibition "Under the Naobei Mountain – Hengqin Image Creation Exhibition Today," which concluded on the same day. This talk focuses specifically on film photography. For the first session, "On the Edge – Possibilities of Contemporary Documentary Photography Aesthetics," we invited Qin Wei, Coordinator and Lecturer of the Advanced Diploma in Photography program at the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education, photographer, and curator, to share his insights with the audience at Oxwarehouse. Qin Wei also held a solo exhibition titled "Under Heaven" at Oxwarehouse in 2012, which depicted the living conditions of disadvantaged groups in the Philippines through a documentary format.
