Event Overview
The Oxfam Tower Run is the fourth edition of this charity stair-climbing fundraising event organized by Oxfam in Macau. Participants start from the ground plaza of the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre and race up 1,298 steps to the 61st-floor Adventure Activities Level. This event aims to encourage public support for Oxfam's poverty alleviation, disaster relief, and development advocacy work worldwide.
Event Format & Fundraising
- Event Format: The fundraiser features an Individual Race and a Team Relay Race.
- Participation: Participants can join by raising the minimum required donation amount.
- Become an Ambassador: Upon registration, participants become an Oxfam 'Poverty Alleviation Crowdfunding Ambassador' and receive a personal fundraising webpage to rally support from friends and family.
- Theme & Matching Donation: Under the theme "You Fund I Run", the main sponsor, AIA (International) Limited, will donate HKD 100 to Oxfam for every participant who completes the full 1,299 steps (1,298 stairs plus one symbolic extra step). Furthermore, for every participant who raises HKD/MOP 1,299 or more, AIA will make an additional HKD 1,000 donation.

Purpose
Participants challenge themselves with a thousand-step climb while raising funds for Oxfam's poverty alleviation projects, helping impoverished communities worldwide achieve self-reliance and a better life.
